It's beautifully simple...
You just choose what you'd like to paint from our pottery pieces, everything is individually priced ranging from £5 to £45, download the list of our pottery above. Let us know at the counter what you've chosen and if you'd like any drinks, cakes, or of course both. There is a one off £2.50 studio fee per crafter. So only the people actually painting pottery or decopatching pay the studio fee. We then get you started, giving you the painting basics, tips and hints for you to paint your perfect masterpiece. We have all the tools and equipment you need on the table or at the two paint stations. We are on hand should you need any help or have any questions - just ask. There are also helpful hints on the placemats, books on both floors should you need some creative inspiration and we have free wifi, where the internet provides endless creative ideas. A great place to start is Pinterest, where we have a number of boards for pottery inspiration - different seasons, special days, hand & foot prints and general craft boards. We have two floors of seating, so plenty of room for everyone. It's a creative environment full of inspiration. You then leave your pottery with us to glaze, fire in the kiln and wrap ready for collection in 7-10 days. We will only call you if your item/s are ready very early or will be late, otherwise you just pop in to collect any time from the date on the bottom of your collection slip. All finished pottery MUST be collected by the 21st AUGUST 2022 due to a possible closure on the 24th July. www.pinterest.co.uk/BusyBrush/ |

How does it work?
PaintYou choose the pottery you'd like to paint, we have lots to choose from, ranging from £4 to £45. We have two floors of seating for you to enjoy your pottery painting session at Busy Brush Cafe. You leave your painted pottery with us and it's left to dry overnight.

GlazeWe then dip your pottery into liquid glaze and it is left to dry. This glaze makes the pottery food safe and usable. We suggest, to preserve the life of your pottery piece, that you do not put your pottery in the microwave or dishwasher.
|
FireWe then prepare the pottery ready to be fired in the kiln. This firing cycle is 24 hours! We then leave the items to cool, wrap and bag ready for collection. This is usually within 7-10 days, the collection date is at the bottom of the receipt we give you on payment at the end of your session.
